Hosford School visits Mission San Luis

Hosford’s 4th grade recently visited Mission San Luis in Tallahassee as part of our Social Studies unit on the Mission system in Florida.  Students were met by costumed tour guides who took them back in time to visit an Apalachee Council House, Spanish Fort, and Mission Church on the grounds of this archaeological treasure.

Smoked chicken fundraiser set for eighth grade class trip

BRISTOL - Hosford School’s 8th grade class will hold a smokes chicken dinner fundraiser on Friday, March 11 beginning at 11 a.m. ET. Daddy Daughter Dance 2016

The 2nd annual Daddy Daughter Dance was held Friday, Feb. 12 by Hosford School Staff. Guests were treated to dinner and desserts before hitting the dance floor.  Dads, uncles and family friends escorted the young ladies to the much-anticipated event, where they enjoyed the music, had fun and made a lot of memories.

Hosford students have fun during Literacy Week

Hosford School set a goal of reading 5,000,000 words during Literacy Week from Monday, Jan. 25 through Friday, Jan. 29. They blew past way past that goal. Hosford Family Reading Night

Hosford School enjoyed another successful family reading night with well over 100 in attendance, including Santa! Families enjoyed reading time together, snacks such as cookies and hot chocolate, as well as a visit by Santa himself and photos with Santa. Each student that attended was given a special wrapped gift by Santa… books!
