Carr School held its Awards Day on Tuesday, May 24. Students were recognized for outstanding academic achievement, citizenship, leadership, and physical fitness. Carr School eighth grader, Taylor Pate, was awarded the Most Improved Middle School student for the third grading period.
FFA State Officer Heather Yoder visited Carr School on Thursday, April 28. Heather is currently serving as vice-president for Area 1. Classes enjoyed an interactive presentation on communication and teamwork. Heather represents the Florida FFA Association and travels throughout the state working with students.

Carr School held a “Muffins for Moms” event on Wednesday, March 2. Moms were invited to come and enjoy a free muffin with their child while completing a math activity.
Carr School students in grades 3-8 were inspired by Wiley Bailey as he shared a motivational message with his banjo and his stories. On Friday, Feb. 3, Carr Middle School held its annual winter dance. Braden Jamerson and Autumn Raisbeck were crowned as king and queen. These students were selected by their peers in grades six through eight.
Carr School held their second grading period Honor Assembly on Wednesday, Jan. 20. Students were recognized for their academic achievement as well as citizenship.
