She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Nathan Shellnut. BLOUNTSTOWN – Arlene Montford, 91, of Blountstown passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 in Blountstown.  She was born September 4, 1920 in Alliance to the late Mike and Ida (Sullivan) Wimberly. She managed Montford Café for six years and worked for Ramsey Piggly Wiggly for twenty-three years. She was a member of Blountstown First Baptist Church. Oscar C. Hammond Sr. WEWAHITCHKA – Oscar C. Hammond, Sr., 89, passed away Feb. 7 2012, with his family by his side in Wewahitchka after a short battle with cancer. He was born March 3, 1922 in Stockton, AL to the late Ralph and Kate Hammond. He served in the United States Navy from 1944-1946 in the Pacific in World War II. BLOUNTSTOWN – Douglas K. Thomas, Sr., 68, of Blountstown passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Panama City.  He was born in Marianna Sept. 11, 1943 to the late Charlie and Dora Thomas. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for many years and worked at the Texaco Station on Hwy. 69 for the past two years.
