Liberty County public officials and dedicated citizens gathered May 12 in Tallahassee for the 2011 Historic Preservation Awards Ceremony, where they accepted an Award of Excellence honoring their efforts to restore the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Hosford. This project was a labor of love for all concerned. Inmate labor from Liberty Correctional Institution voluntarily assisted in the restoration. The church was built in the early 1900s.
