A woman who was stabbed during an argument over a cell phone last Dec. 15 has been arrested on an assault charge involving the dispute with her roommate. Diana Jo Bates, 30, was taken into custody March 26. Bates and her former roommate, Pamela Mayo – who was arrested Jan. 10 on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon – got into a fight in the front yard of the Clarksville home they shared with a third person. An altercation outside the Lodge Apartments resulted in the arrest of Lillie Mae Middlebrooks, 47, after she reportedly threatened a man Thursday afternoon, according to a Blountstown Police Department report. William R. Yon, 86, stated that Middlebrooks was walking around the front of the apartments as she argued with Alma Pouncy and Tracey Brown. A woman was charged with domestic battery for slapping her estranged husband, according to a report from the Blountstown Police Department. The husband, told officers they had been separated for two years, he said Johnson had been following him around town on her motorcycle. The report stated that Ja’Marial Taneeshia Johnson, 23, of Blountstown, followed her husband to his mother’s home Friday afternoon. An 18-year-old woman was charged with domestic battery following a disturbance Sunday near Aspalaga Road in Liberty County. Arrested was Raveen Lindsey of Brockton, MA. Bockton reported that her boyfriend hit her and said she was having trouble breathing. A 45-year-old Bristol man was charged with criminal mischief after using a key to write a curse word and damage the paint on a truck parked at the Bristol Boat Landing on March 18. Robert D. An 18-year-old Marianna man was arrested on methamphetamine charges after a 20 ounce bottle in which methamphetamine had been cooked and still held remnants of the drug was found in his right pants leg. The finished product – a chunky yellowish substance that tested positive as methamphetamine – was found in his left pants pocket, according to an arrest report from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office. A Calhoun County man is in custody on several charges after he abandoned his truck and his passenger when a deputy attempted to pull him over for speeding earlier this month. Two people are charged with bringing marijuana into the Liberty County Jail after a correctional officer saw a visitor hand something over to an inmate last month. Savannah Mobley, 22, of Tallahassee was visiting inmate Travis Ryan Jones, 21, on Feb. 24 when she gave him a small black bag, according to the arrest report. A 46-year-old Bristol man was arrested following a traffic stop Saturday afternoon in Blountstown. Blountstown Police Officer Ethan Ellis was traveling east on Lockwood Avenue when he saw a vehicle going the wrong direction on a one-way street. Just before the vehicle came to a stop on Boyd Street, the officer saw the driver toss an open beer can out the window. When asked for his license, Marlon Willis told the officer it was suspended.
