The Liberty County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the following project:


This project will include the construction of a water system facility and 1,700 LF of 8” PVC waterline near the Hosford/Telogia water system.  The proposed project also includes installing a 25 HP submersible pump, pole barn, chlorination building, and other water plant features.

Bidders may elect to bid on one or more of the following items that will be included in the bid documents for this project.  The County intends to award each item individually based on the best value to the County.

•Well and Associated Appurtenances
•Chlorination Room Construction
•Generator Installation
•Chlorination Equipment Installation
•Pole Barn Construction
•Site Fencing

Completion time varies for each phase of this project.  Allowable construction time is noted on the bid form.

Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day.

Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid, for the “HOSFORD WELL #3 WATER SYSTEM”

Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. (EST), on January 4, 2018, at the Liberty County Clerk’s Office, Liberty County Courthouse, 10818 NW S.R. 20, Bristol, Florida 32321, and will be opened and read aloud on January 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. (EST).  Liberty County Board of Commissioners is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Handicapped Accessible/Fair Housing Jurisdiction.

Cost for Plans and Specifications will be $50.00 per set and is non-refundable.  Checks should be made payable to DEWBERRY | PREBLE-RISH, INC.

The Liberty County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids.  All Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening.  All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.                        12-6-17
