Mary Lou Tindell

CAMPBELLTON - Mary Lou Tindell, 96, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017. She was born on Nov. 13, 1920 in Rehobeth, AL to Thomas Van and Lennie Jane Skipper. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by  her parents; her husband of 50 years, Johnie Tindell; and a brother, Foy Skipper.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty J. Deese, of Greensboro; a granddaughter, Mary Catherine Gray and her husband, Gary; three great-grandchildren, Asa Felton, Neil Gray and Montana Gray, all of Tallahassee; a sister-in-law, Violet Skipper of Chipley; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Friday, May 5 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Campbellton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 105 N. Jackson Street, Quincy, Florida 32351.
