Annie Herlene “Hazel” Cooley

GRAND RIDGE - Annie Herlene “Hazel” Cooley, 85, of Grand Ridge, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at her home. Born in Clarksville in the Frink Community on Feb. 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Herley Pitts and Annie Davis Porter. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Cooley; and her daughter, Janice Theall.

Survivors include two sons, Chris Cooley of Sneads and David Cooley of Jacksonville; three daughters, Margaret Forehand and her husband, Steve and Clydette Maitland, all of Sneads, Nita Watson and her husband, Joe of Bonifay; a sister, Katie Whitt of Panama City; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

Services will be held Friday, April 28 at 11 a.m. CT at Carr Advent Church in Clarksville with Rev. Glenn Davis and Rev. Dallas Presley officiating. Interment will follow in Herndon Cemetery near Clarksville.
