Havana man is charged with burglary, criminal mischief and tampering with a witness
A 38-year-old Havana man who dropped in on his ex-fiance in Bristol, spent the night and then refused to leave when she told him to go was arrested April 4.
Charles Andrew Fabian was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and tampering with a witness.
According to the arrest report from the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, Fabian’s ex said after staying the night he “started drinking and showing out.”
He started to walk out when she told him to leave but then stopped to grab her guitar. She then went outside and got the guitar back.
After she went into her bedroom to charge her phone, she saw Fabian walking around her yard. She said he pulled open a locked door to her home and then pushed through her locked bedroom door. Both doors and a section of carpet were damaged.
The victim stated that she told him numerous times not to come in the house.
She stated that Fabian tried to take the phone from her when she was speaking with the dispatcher at the sheriff’s office.
