James Brady Hall

GREENSBORO - James Brady Hall, 77, of Greensboro, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 in Tallahassee after a lengthy illness.

He was born Oct. 9, 1939 to Willie and Lora Mayo Hall in Altha. He married Ann Marlow of Greensboro April 5, 1958. He retired from The State of Florida Dept. of Corrections as a sergeant, and he also served as an honorary deputy under the late Sheriff W. A. Woodham.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ann Marlow Hall; three sons, Johnnie (Debbie) Hall, Jimmy (Donna) Hall and Tim Hall, all of Greensboro; two sisters, Joyce Williams of Tallahassee and Thelma Sellars of Altha; a brother, Jeral Hall of Altha, father-in-law, J. B. Toole of Greensboro; six grandchildren, Tanya Strickland, Brady Hall, Tracy Johnson, Jennifer Hall, Daniel Hal and Kaci Hall; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services were held Sunday, Jan. 29 at Providence Baptist Church. Interment followed in Providence Cemetery.

Charles McClellan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
