Clarence Lee Johnson

QUINCY - Clarence Lee Johnson, 96, of Quincy, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee. He was born on Nov. 19, 1920 Jackson County to James and Trudy Johnson. He was an orderly for the Florida State Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clyde Johnson.

Survivors include five children, Sylvia Mayfield and her husband, Roger of Myakka City, Christine Alford and her husband, Tommy and Betty Elliott, all of Quincy, Thomas Beauchamp of Snellville, GA and Roy E. Beauchamp and his wife, Olivia of Tampa; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. CT at Waldorf Cemetery in Grand Ridge with Pastor Matt Basford officiating.

Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown is in charge of the arrangements.
