Rufus D. “Charlie” Lee
BLOUNTSTOWN - Rufus D. “Charlie” Lee, 72, of Blountstown, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 in Tallahassee. Born in Blountstown, Aug. 27, 1944, he was the son of the late Rufus E. and Thelma D. Davis Lee. He lived his entire life in Blountstown and was a member of Macedonia First Baptist Church. He was one of the best car salesmen in the area, selling cars for Lee’s Cars and Trucks, Dodge Chrysler Plymouth, and Charla Chevrolet.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqualine M. “Jackie” Bryant Lee of Blountstown; three sons, Dale Lee and his wife, Sue, and Todd Lee and his wife, Jennifer, all of Blountstown and Eric Lee and his wife, Marion of Crawfordville; a daughter, Charla Phinney and her husband, Shane of Quincy; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, Nov. 6 at Macedonia First Baptist Church with Reverend David Wood officiating. Interment followed in Macedonia Cemetery.
