NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS

The Liberty County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the following project:

CR 120 SCRAP

This project will include the resurfacing of County Road 120.

Plans and specifications can be obtained at Dewberry/Preble-Rish, Inc., 20684 Central Avenue East, Blountstown, Florida 32424, (850) 674-3300. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.

Completion date for this project will be 90 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder.

All bidders shall be pre-qualified with the Florida Department of Transportation per Section 2-1 of the F.D.O.T. Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2015 edition for: Flexible Paving, Hot Plant Mixed Bituminous Courses, Grading, Drainage and Grassing, Seeding and Sodding.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Liberty County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed proposals from any qualified engineering and surveying firm interested in providing the requested services for the following project:

CR 120 SCRAP RESURFACING
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING
AND INSPECTION SERVICES

The project will consist of the professional services as they apply to the construction engineering and inspection of the resurfacing and minor drainage improvements along County Road 120 from SR 20 to Ochlockonee River in accordance with FDOT Standards as identified in the County’s Local Agency Participation contract with FDOT.

This project is state funded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and/or the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Conflicts of interest will be governed by FDOT Procedure No. G0344 (Restriction on Consultants Eligibility to Compete for Department Contracts).

Information regarding the proposal can be obtained at the Liberty County Clerk’s Office, 10818 NW CR 20, Bristol, Florida 32321. All questions concerning the proposal instructions can be addressed to Kathleen E. Brown, County Clerk by November 7, 2076 at close of business.
