The administration of the estate of HELEN W. BROWN, deceased, whose date of death was November 4, 2014, is pending in the Circuit Court for Calhoun County, Florida, Probate Division, the address of which is 20859 Central Avenue E., Blountstown, FL 32424. The names and addresses of the personal representative and the personal representative’s attorney are set forth below.

All creditors of the Decedent and other persons having claims or demands against Decedent’s estate on whom a copy of this notice is required to be served must file their claims with this Court WITHIN THE LATER OF THREE (3) MONTHS AFTER THE TIME OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE OR THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER SERVICE OF A COPY OF THIS NOTICE ON THEM.

All other creditors of the Decedent and other persons having claims or demands against the Decedent’s estate must file their claims with this Court WITHIN THREE (3) MONTHS AFTER THE DATE OF FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE.

ALL CLAIMS NOT FILED WITHIN THE TIME PERIODS SET FORTH IN SECTION 732.702 OF THE FLORIDA PROBATE CODE WILL BE FOREVER BARRED.

Talquin Electric Cooperative invites financial institutions which possess the capability of handling the Cooperative’s accounts and services to submit a proposal for providing central depository services of TEC and TWWI funds. Both TEC and TWWI are member owned cooperatives providing utility services to in excess of 40,000 members in a four county area (Gadsden, Leon, Liberty, and Wakulla) in north Florida. NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS

The Town of Altha will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the following project:

East Streets Paving Project

This project will include roadway reconstruction and paving of various roads in Altha, FL.

Plans and specifications can be obtained at Altha Town Hall, 25586 N. Main St., Altha, Florida 32421, (850) between the hours of 8:00 A.M. (CT) and 4:00 P.M (CT) Monday through Friday.  (For questions, please call Carol Finuff at (850) 762-3280 or at  HYPERLINK “mailto:townofaltha@yahoo.com” townofaltha@yahoo.com).  The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.

Completion date for this project will be 45 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder.

All bidders shall be pre-qualified with the Florida Department of Transportation per Section 2-1 of the F.D.O.T. Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2016 edition for:  Flexible Paving, Hot Plant Mixed Bituminous Courses, Grading, Drainage and Grassing, Seeding and Sodding.

Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day.

Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid, for the “East Streets Paving Project”.

Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. (CST), on October 20, 2016, at the Altha Clerk’s Office located at the Altha Town Hall, 25586 N. Main St., Altha, Florida 32421, and will be opened and read aloud on October 20, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. (CST).

The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder.

All Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening.  All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.
