A 40-year-old woman who reportedly chased a man into a home, broke a window in an attempt to open the door and later exposed herself by dropping her pants and taunting another man was arrested last week, according to a report from the Blountstown Police Department.

An officer was called to the scene in response to a disturbance at Canal Lane Apartments involving a white female, later identified as Tiffany M. MacKendrick.

The officer drove up to find MacKendrick arguing with another woman. As he approached, Officer Gary McGee noted that she smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage and her hand was bleeding.

MacKendrick, who declined medical help, was cursing and trying to fight with everyone. She was put in a patrol car while the officer talked with others at the scene.

Two witnesses stated they were across the street when they saw MacKendrick chasing a man around the apartments as she tried to put her hand in his pocket. The man ran into an apartment and then closed and locked the door. MacKendrick started kicking the door and then broke a window next to the door.

One of the witnesses approached MacKendrick, told her the person she was chasing was her boyfriend. When MacKendrick indicated she was going to fight with her, the woman told her she didn’t fight and walked away.

MacKendrick followed her and a second witness, a man, across the street. She stopped, pulled down her shorts and exposed herself, making a lewd comment to the man.

She was charged with disorderly intoxication, criminal mischief and indecent exposure.

As she was being booked in at the police department, the officer stepped into another room for a moment and MacKendrick ran out the back door. She ran across Main Street to Anders Equipment, where the deputy caught up with her and she was taken into custody once again.
